|IntexForms Access Panels are made of GFRG (Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum).
The GFRG Access Door and Frame was invented by IntexForms in the early 1990’s. From a 4 size offering, we now make 100’s of sizes from 6” to 120”. All IntexForms panels are made and calibrated for 5/8” sheetrock. Our panel and frame Molds are made with computer controlled machines. Every panel fits in every orientation, with even gaps on all sides, every time. Intex-Forms Panels include embedments in the Frame so bugle head screws, or torque, do not fracture or crack the frames. Every access panel and frame is provided “paint ready.” Any texture can be applied. We also make custom access panels, split doors, over-sized, round or oblong, moist environment resistant, gasket sealed, access doors. Lock options are available. The frames are 3in wide surrounding the panel, which makes for a total of 6in wider overall rough opening in the wall/ceiling. (example: A 12″x12″ size Access Panel needs a 18″x18″ rough wall/ceiling opening for instalation).

We dont cut corners. The embedments used in the perimeter of the frames are of full width. This plays a great role on overall rigidity and when mounting the panels.
